Getting books

Most of the publications and materials listed are available in the Down Syndrome Victoria library and most can be borrowed by members; contact us if you would like to have something sent our to you. Other organisations such as maternal and child health centres, early intervention providers, community disability organisations and toy libraries may also keep small specialised libraries or you can order books through the public library. 

The Royal Children’s Hospital Resource Centre maintains a large range of books relating to parenting, young children and various disabilities.

Woodbine House: Online catalogue of all the books they publish, including The Special-Needs Collection, a series of almost 50 books on disabilities including Down syndrome.
