Volunteer with Down Syndrome Victoria

Volunteering is a great way to make a contribution, develop skills, fill in time and meet new people. It makes you feel good and looks great on a CV!

Current volunteering opportunities with Down Syndrome Victoria include:

  • attending Club21 activities in metropolitan Melbourne for adults with Down syndrome
  • play with and supervise pre-schoolers at MyTime peer support groups throughout Victoria
  • occasional mailouts to Down Syndrome Victoria members
  • set-up, sausage sizzle, registration & marshalling at our major annual fundraiser, Buddy Walk, in October in Carlton, Horsham or Bendigo
  • other opportunities as they arise
  • or contact us about your professional skill or talent that may be of use.

If you can assist, please contact Meredith Zavattiero on 1300 658 873.

Volunteers will need to supply a Police Check and/or Working with Children Check depending on how they wish to help. For more information visit the Working with Children Check website or call 1300 652 879 9am to 5pm weekdays.
